Chuangwei Garment: Production Practices and Compliance of a Flame-Resistant Workwear Manufacturer

发布:^xxcwtex 浏览:372次

In high-risk industries such as oil & gas, chemical processing, power generation, and metallurgy, flame-resistant (FR) workwear plays a critical role in protecting workers from thermal hazards. As a manufacturer specializing in functional protective clothing, Xinxiang Chuangwei Garment Co., Ltd. has been actively involved in the development and production of FR garments for years.

Chuangwei Garment currently produces flame-resistant workwear using durable chemical finishing processes, primarily through CP (tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium chloride) and Proban® technologies. The base fabrics include 100% cotton, CVC (cotton-polyester blend), cotton-nylon (nylon-cotton), cotton-linen, and cotton knit, with fabric weights ranging from 150g/m² to 450g/m² to suit varying comfort and protection requirements across applications.

All FR products are tested by independent third-party laboratories such as SGS and TUV, and have demonstrated compliance with the following international standards:

  • European Standards: EN ISO 11612 (thermal protection), EN ISO 11611 (protection for welding), EN ISO 14116 (limited flame spread)

  • U.S. Standard: NFPA 2112:2012 (standard for flame-resistant garments for industrial fire protection)

The company operates integrated production departments covering weaving, dyeing & finishing, quality control, and garment assembly, enabling end-to-end process management. Its technical team has accumulated years of experience in functional textile applications and maintains ongoing collaboration with domestic research institutions to refine product performance.

It should be noted that the effectiveness of flame resistance depends on multiple factors, including fabric composition, finishing method, working environment, and laundering practices. Users are advised to select and use FR garments according to specific workplace hazards and follow applicable safety guidelines.
